PMQ Night Market Pop-up Store @ Soho, Hong Kong

Let start off by talking a little bit about what PMQ is and how it came to be.

PMQ stands for Police Married Quarters, and lays in the heart Soho, Hong Kong, one of the busiest places for night life in Hong Kong. It was once home to married junior police officers in Hong Kong, but was left unused since 2000

In 2009, PMQ was picked up by the Development Bureau to be preserved under the “Conserving Central” policy as an important historical site. Now with the help of many institutions, PMQ has been created into a new platform for emerging artists, designers and anything creative to support Hong Kong’s creative industries.

One of their popular summer kick off events was their summer night market attracting thousands of people visiting each week. IndigoPaper was lucky enough to reserve two weekends and participate in this exciting event.

It was a truly great experience to be able to meet customers in person and see how so many people of different shapes and sizes fit and love IP Jeans.

We were also met with kids and big smiles as they tried on their IP Jeans as well.

We don’t know when or where we will pop-up next, but be sure to like our facebook page to get the latest updates.

Cheers,

IndigoPaper
